Every two or three months this is an informal opportunity to learn a little bit in general about who Christ Community Church is, what we stand for, and the direction we believe God is sending us. Held during the 9:40 Sunday School hour, participants learn and share over a brunch of fruit, pastries, juice and coffee.

Membership Class

Adults nineteen and older who may be interested in becoming professing members of Christ Community United Methodist Church are invited to attend a Membership Class. In a three-four hour period, this course will cover such topics as basic Christian beliefs, specific and unique United Methodist beliefs, and the official position of the Church on social issues such as abortion, ecology, and many others. In addition, we’ll explore the organization of the United Methodist Church in general as well as of this specific congregation. After attending the class participants will then decide whether or not they wish to become a professing member of Christ Community.
