Safe Sanctuary: On Sunday, September 19th, during the Sunday School hour, all those who either missed the previous meeting, or are interested in working with children and youth, should attend this Safe Sanctuary meeting, in the Overflow Room.

We are having a diaper shower for Isaac David Thomas son of Jon and Stephanie Thomas. Please place your diapers in the basinet in the narthex.

AWANA NEWS Awana needs your prayers and help! Our groups this year will be bursting at the seams and we need adult leadership to support this! We are in need of 5 dedicated individuals with a love of teaching Bible lessons to children. Awana will run on Wednsdays from 6-8 pm, Sept 15-April 13. If you are feeling led to give Awana clubbers your time and dedication, please call Heidi Carroll at 743-7181.

We are still seeking a Choir Accompanist for the chancel choir. The candidate must be able to provide accompaniment to the choir during Wednesday night rehearsals and the Sunday morning worship service. This person must possess strong piano skills and take pride in the quality of the music being played. Please see Janice Castrignano or Julie Thomas if you know of someone that might fill this position.

Promotion Sunday and Sunday School Open House will be September 12th.

During both worship services, we will recognize all our Sunday School Students along with those being promoted to the next class. We would love to see your child here to be recognized. Open House will be from 9:40-10:40 am, during Sunday School. This is your opportunity to check out all the classes to see what is being taught. Snacks will be available in each class room.

Apple Dumplings: The Busy Bees will be making apple dumplings on Monday, October 11. Cost: $6.00 for a pan of two. A sign-up sheet will be on the office window and forms will be available for you to take orders at work. Deadline to place your orders is Sunday, September 26th. Pick-up on the October 11th will be from 2-6 pm.

Nursery Volunteers: Adult volunteers are needed for the Nursery during both services. Please see Kim Ditty to volunteer.

Meals are still needed for Joanne Kerstetter. A sign-up sheet is on the office window. Joanne thanks everyone who has provided her with a meal.
