“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” – Eph. 3:20-21
Thirty-six years ago, the faithful men and women of Christ Community United Methodist Church moved into the facility we now utilize for mission and ministry. The visionaries that went before us saw God’s will in uniting two congregations, and the congregation of CCUMC has been a steady outpost for the glory of God ever since. God, who continually calls His people to imagine life through His eyes of grace, has called our generation to Re-imagine His facilities for the 21st century. Those who have gone on before us have imparted Christ’s legacy to us.
A legacy, however, is no legacy at all if the generation to whom it has been given is not intentional about passing it to the next generation. Many of you have taken part in the conversation on how we can improve our facilities in order to better fulfill our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.
God has given us immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. Now it is our turn to offer that same grace to the next generation.
